ausschlag

“Ausschlag” is one of three sculptures created for my diploma, exploring universal and natural laws. The work is inspired by the hermetic principle of rhythm, which can be observed both in nature-such as tides or moon cycles-and within the human mind, in the constant swing of emotions. Nothing remains static; opposites are simply two sides of the same phenomenon. The pendulum became a central symbol for this idea, embodying the perpetual movement between poles. The sculpture’s form draws from fractal geometry, reflecting the repeating patterns of growth and structure that recur throughout nature.
